Features:
1. It enters the bladder through the body’s natural urethral passage, requiring no incisions on the abdomen.
2. The resectoscope is a highly integrated system. Within a single sheath, it integrates optical visualization, illumination, irrigation and flushing, and a working channel.
3. The core lies in its high-frequency electrosurgical system. Through the working channel inside the endoscope sheath, an electrosurgical loop (equivalent to an “electrosurgical knife”) is inserted. Under high-definition visualization, the hyperplastic tissue is carefully dissected layer by layer, while simultaneous electrocoagulation is used to achieve hemostasis.
4. The lens sheath is equipped with inflow and outflow channels that connect to an irrigation system, allowing continuous intraoperative flushing to remove tissue debris and blood.Accessories:
Electroresectoscope body: The core optical component, integrating optical lenses and illumination fibers.
Electroresectoscope sheath: It is a metal sleeve through which both the resectoscope body and the electrode pass.
Urethral dilator: Inserted into the endoscope sheath to guide the sheath smoothly through the urethra.
High-frequency electrosurgical generator: Provides high-frequency electrical energy required for cutting and electrocoagulation of the electrosurgical loop.
Electrocautery loop: the “surgical knife” used for cutting and hemostasis, which is inserted through the working channel of the endoscope sheath.
Electrocautery loop operating handle: The electrocautery loop is connected to this handle. The physician controls the extension and retraction of the electrocautery loop via a trigger, enabling cutting operations.
Infusion pump: Continuously and steadily infuses perfusate into the bladder.
Camera System and Light Source: Converts optical images into electronic signals and displays them on a monitor.Parameters:
