    2. By intravenous injection of ICG dye, under near-infrared light excitation, specific tissues, blood vessels, or the lymphatic system can be made to fluoresce, providing critical functional information for surgery.
    3. After gastrointestinal anastomosis, immediately assess the blood supply to the anastomotic site. Areas that show fluorescence indicate good blood perfusion, while areas that remain uncolored suggest a risk of ischemia, thereby significantly reducing the incidence of anastomotic leakage—a potentially fatal complication.
    4. During surgery for gastric cancer and colorectal cancer, ICG can specifically accumulate in sentinel lymph nodes or tiny lesions, guiding surgeons to perform precise dissection and improving the radical resection of tumors while potentially avoiding unnecessary extensive dissection.
