Ventricular Surgery Endoscope (NSJ-001)

The endoscope is a slender, rigid metal tube that enters the cranial cavity through a keyhole incision measuring approximately 1–2 centimeters in the skull or via a natural body cavity (such as the nasal cavity). The endoscope integrates an optical system, illumination fiber optic cables, irrigation channels, and working channels into a single unit.

Classification:

  • Product Description
  • Features:
    1. The endoscope consists of a slender, rigid metal tube that enters the cranial cavity through a keyhole incision approximately 1–2 centimeters in size on the skull or via a natural body cavity (such as the nasal cavity). The endoscope integrates an optical system, illumination fiber optic cables, irrigation channels, and working channels into a single unit.
    2. Utilizing a high-definition or 4K ultra-high-definition optical system paired with a high-brightness light source, it delivers bright, true-to-life, and distortion-free images.
    3. In addition to the 0° direct-view mirror, the 30° mirror and the 70° mirror are particularly crucial.
    4. An independent irrigation channel can continuously flush the surgical area with saline solution.
    5. The accompanying instruments—such as biopsy forceps, scissors, and bipolar electrocoagulation devices—are all lengthened and finely designed to be operated through the working channel.

    Accessories:
Ventriculoscope body: The core optical component, integrating an optical lens, illumination fiber optic, and irrigation channel.
Sheath/Working Catheter: Establishes a stable working channel from the scalp to the ventricles, protecting brain tissue.
Puncture core/occluder: Inserted into the endoscope sheath, it is used to guide the sheath through brain tissue into the ventricle.
Bipolar electrocoagulation forceps: an essential hemostatic instrument in neurosurgery, used for precise electrocoagulation of blood vessels in liquid environments.
Microforceps/Biopsy Forceps: Used for grasping and excising diseased tissues, such as tumors, cyst walls, or performing biopsies.
Balloon catheter: Used for third ventriculostomy (ETV).
Cavitron Ultrasonic Surgical Aspirator (CUSA): Uses ultrasonic waves to selectively fragment and aspirate tumor tissue.
